Polus Payments
Polus Payments is a flexible and unique solution that combines API and payment form. It can be easily integrated into various services, including services from Polus. Provided in SaaS format, Polus Payments differs from the classic subscription model, as it is based on payment per transaction. This gives users more flexibility and control over costs.
Customization:
Polus Payments is a tool that can act as an intermediary between different services and make payments for the merchant and the user as comfortable as possible for both parties. For example, you have your store on Shopify. The customer will pay for the goods through the Polus Payments payment form, and your money will go to the Coinbase exchange account (as shown in the diagram below).
The advantages of using this approach is the simplification of the process. Instead of having to accept payments through several different platforms, all transactions go through Polus Payments and into the right account.
Polus Payments Form:
Polus Payments Form is an intuitive web page that provides convenience in the payment process. Through integration with the Polus Payments API, the payment form can be easily embedded into any service, enhancing the user experience. Below is a step-by-step payment process for your customers:
Blockchains that support auto-swap (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain, Optimism):
Payment Page: Customer is directed to the payment page through a link provided by the store. Connects any supported crypto wallet and choose the network and cryptocurrency for payment.
Approving using funds: After clicking the payment button, the buyer authorizes the deduction of the selected cryptocurrency from their connected wallet.
Smart Contract interaction: After authorization of deduction, users confirms the interaction with a smart contract in their wallet, triggering a chain of transactions.
Transaction Submission to the Blockchain: Upon clicking the payment button, the payment is sent to the blockchain. There is a fee for submitting the transaction to the blockchain and for Polus Payments services.
Automatic Cryptocurrency Exchange: If necessary, the cryptocurrency used for payment is automatically converted into the preferred cryptocurrency for the seller. This exchange takes place through decentralized exchanges (DEX) such as 1inch or Uniswap.
Payment Status "Pending": The user sees information indicating that the payment is being processed and has the option to return to the store's website.
Confirmation of Payment Receipt and Fulfillment of Obligations: The seller receives confirmation of payment receipt on their server, and the buyer receives the purchased item or service.
Blockchains without support for auto-swap (Bitcoin, Doge, Ripple, Tron):
Redirect to the payment page: Customer goes to the payment page using the link to which the store redirected him. When choosing one of the blockchains: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Doge, Ripple, Tron, the customer has the opportunity to pay by direct transfer to the merchant's wallet. *For Tron blockchain only direct transfer of TRC-20 token USDT (Tether) is supported.
Payment by direct transfer: The interface displays the exact amount and address for the transfer. The information can be copied or the QR code can be scanned.
Payment status "Pending": The user receives information about the current status of the payment, which is being processed. At the same time the user has an opportunity to return to the site of the store to continue the actions.
Confirmation of Payment Receipt and Fulfillment of Obligations: The seller receives confirmation of payment acceptance on its server, and the buyer receives the purchased product or service, corresponding to the obligations specified in the transaction.
